• Providing workforce development including planning, organisation and training needs analysis.  Referral and signposting training and develoment opportunities which provide workforce development solutions.
• Provide specialist training acitivy which enables Social Care employers to achieve National Minimum Standards.
• Provide Leadership and Management training.
• Provide activity in support of Recruitment and Retention including Care Ambassador activity within Schools and Colleges.
• Provide activity which contributes to the participation of People who use Services and Carers in the work of Skills for Care.
• Provide brokerage activity which includes management and brokerage of TSI funding.
• Ensure quality assurance of the delivery of our services.
• Share and exchange best practise.  Facilitating Training & Learning provider froums and Continuous Professional Development programmes for Health and Social Care teachers, lecturers and assessors.
• Undertake and support research activity to inform improvement in Social Care practice.
