AIMS


  • Continue to support the evolution and development of the South Yorkshire Partnership in the role of lead Partner. 
  •  Provide consultancy services which contribute to increasing workforce intelligence which informs transformation of the workforce for the benefit of strategic partners, individual and traditional IPV sector employers.
  • Provide employers in the South Yorkshire access to excellent workforce development services which enhance the quality of care services and the experience of the people who use them and contribute directly to promoting transformation and innovation.
  • To increase participation in learning and development activity thereby contributing to the transformation of the workforce and ensuring the participation of Service Users and Carers who are also employers are given appropriate priority.
  • Support employers to access  training & funding, information, advice and guidance through effective sign posting and partnership activity
  • Participate in employment initiatives and brokerage activity which result in increasing recruitment to the social care sector and contributes to developing a skilled competent workforce.
  • Actively promotes a positive awareness of work in the Health and Social Care sector, enabling  employers to become actively involved in work with schools and colleges.
  • Work to ensure that change and the development of  services and provision is  informed by the  needs and priorities of people who use service  and are Carers
  • Contribute to the delivery and achievement of  the objectives of  the Joint Improvement Partnership at a sub-regional level  by integrating the work of QCP in  contributing to the delivery of outcomes which contribute directly to achievement of service delivery plans and authorities’ performance indicators in each of the 4 local authority areas
  • Undertake and participate in research activity which contributes to action centered learning.
  • Maintain the reputation of QCP within the Health & Social Care Sector, as a positive voice for Service Users, Carers and Employers in the Independent and Voluntary Sector.
  • Continue to demonstrate the impact of Quality Care Partnership’s activity in the sub region. 

 

Underpinning all activity within the partnership, is action to reinforce and promote the crosscutting themes of participation of people who use services and carers; common core principles; dignity, respect and personalisation 

 

STRATEGIC OBJECTIVES

  1. Sustain the charities funding by pro- active engagement in bidding and partnership working which enables QCP to achieve its   charitable and development objectives.
  2. Maintain QCP in the role of Lead partner in the South Yorkshire partnership and promote integration with the health sector demonstrate best value impact and additionality in contracted activity.
  3.  Work with the 4 local authorities in the sub-region & Skills for Care to fully integrate the activity of the South Yorkshire Partnership in the delivery and achievement of local area objectives and performance indicators.
  4. Work to establish a clearly defined  commissioned relationship with the four local authorities in South Yorkshire to support and enhance the impact  of the partnership 
  5. Maintain close partnership with Skills for Care and tender to deliver activities on their behalf including TSI/NMDS. 
  6. Develop QCP’s  role in providing employment brokerage services by expanding the current model to include the 4 local authority areas
  7. Continue develop the consultancy role of the Workforce Development Team in  providing  a portfolio of services and  activity to supports change, transformational development
  8. Contribute to the planning and delivery of forums and event which support the dissemination of information which informs workforce development and best practice.
  9. Develop and deliver learning activity responsive to request and gaps in existing provision, maintain a focus on Leadership and Management explore the feasibility of e-learning.
  10. Identify funding to  develop  QCP’s ICT systems, knowledge, skills and competence including web site etc  to ensure the charity has the ability  to effectively communicate and disseminate information which is accessible to all partners and  stake holders Development is essential if QCP ensure the charity  develop as the “Google” for the care sector, providing IAG  for the  South Yorkshire Partnership.
